Inside him there are two wolves: one writes computer code, devours sci-fi classics from Stranger in a Strange Land to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? toThe Three-Body Problem, encourages his daughters to swim without floaties, look at the stars, and draw in the abstract, while eking out time to write space murder novellas. The other wolf plots an escape from technology, whilst enjoying the occasional hill on a bike, dry martini in an up glass and cigarette in the evening. Both wolves despise artificial intelligence.
